Job Title: IT Security & Risk Officer (SOC / QRadar) Duration: ASAP – 31 December 2027 Workload: Full time hours Setup: Freelance (Daily Rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader) Sponsorship Not Provided Location: Fully Remote within Sweden The client is seeking an experienced IT Security & Risk Officer to support security operations, cyber risk management, threat detection, and incident response within a large-scale enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain IT Security and Risk governance frameworks, policies, and processes.
• Define and monitor security strategies, compliance requirements, and risk management objectives.
• Investigate security incidents and identify mitigation and remediation activities.
• Support crisis management, forensic investigations, and security improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the SOC to develop and optimise detection use cases within IBM QRadar and related SIEM technologies.
• Perform cyber threat hunting activities to proactively identify and respond to potential threats.
• Support Security Incident Response processes and continuous enhancement of security operations.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with IBM QRadar or comparable enterprise SIEM platforms.
• Hands-on Cyber Threat Hunting experience.
• Proven experience in Security Incident Response (SIRT) environments.
• Experience developing SOC detection and monitoring use cases.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security operations and risk management.

Nice-to-Have:

• IT risk analysis and business continuity planning experience.
• Compliance and audit management background.
• Experience supporting forensic investigations.
• Previous experience within highly regulated or automotive environments.
