IT Consultant with Business Analyst/Functional/QA experience

emagine is looking for a freelance Senior IT Business Analyst / Functional Consultant for a long-term project within transportation and logistics. The consultant will act as the link between business stakeholders, external vendors, and technical teams, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and are successfully delivered, implemented, and supported. Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into IT requirements
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, vendors, developers, and architects
• Support and coordinate integrations and process-related activities
• Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams
• Support project delivery from analysis through implementation
• Drive testing, quality assurance, and validation activities
• Support application lifecycle management, operational handover, and continuous improvements

Must Haves

• Experience from IT delivery, solution support, or specialist roles within logistics, supply chain, transportation, or related domains
• Experience working with business stakeholders and translating operational needs into IT requirements
• Experience collaborating with external vendors, developers, architects, and support teams
• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Solution Consultant, or similar role
• Experience with testing, implementation, application lifecycle support, and handover to operations
• Experience working in integrated application landscapes, preferably involving both SAP and non-SAP systems

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Familiarity with transportation management, logistics, carrier collaboration, fleet management, visibility solutions, or similar domains
