IT Configuration Manager to Group HQ

We are now looking for a Configuration Manager to Group HQ who will play a key role in establishing control, transparency, and reliability across our IT environment. As a Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our IT assets and configuration items are accurately defined, controlled, and maintained throughout their lifecycle. You will own and develop the Configuration Management process, working closely with Service Management, Infrastructure, Architecture, and other IT functions to ensure high-quality data, strong governance, and effective decision-making. Your Responsibilities In this role, you will ensure that configuration management practices are effectively established and continuously improved across the organization. You will maintain the integrity and accuracy of the CMDB, ensuring that configuration items and their relationships are properly documented and updated. You will define and enforce governance, processes, and standards, while supporting stakeholders in adopting and working according to best practices. You will collaborate closely with teams across IT to ensure alignment between configuration data, service management processes, and operational needs. In summary, you will:

• Own and develop the Configuration Management process and framework
• Maintain and improve the accuracy and completeness of the CMDB
• Define and enforce policies, standards, and governance within the configuration domain
• Ensure alignment with IT Service Management processes (e.g., Incident, Change, Problem)
• Support audits, compliance, and reporting needs
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and architecture teams
• Drive continuous improvement and tool optimization

Your profile We are looking for a structured and analytical professional with a strong understanding of IT environments and governance. You have experience working with Configuration Management or broader IT Service Management, and a solid understanding of CMDB structures, data quality principles, and frameworks such as ITIL. You are comfortable operating in complex IT environments and have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into clear and actionable insights. Experience working with CMDB tools such as ServiceNow is considered an advantage, as is familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud, or hybrid environments.
