IT Business Partner, Helsinki

As our business continues to grow and evolve, we are looking for an IT Business Partner based in Helsinki who can connect business strategy with technology solutions that create real value. In this role, you will act as the vital link between business and IT, working closely with local business teams and regional Tech colleagues to translate priorities into impactful IT initiatives. By building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring solutions align with business goals, you will help drive operational excellence, enhance performance, and enable future growth. • Act as the primary IT partner and point of contact for POS and Food Management solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution specifications.
• Drive alignment between local business priorities and regional technology capabilities, ensuring solutions support business objectives.
• Represent the local business in regional Communities of Practice and technology transformation initiatives, promoting knowledge sharing and alignment.
• Coordinate application-related changes, major incidents, workarounds, and service improvements across global, regional, and local solutions.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers within the application domain to ensure effective service delivery.
• Monitor system performance, KPIs, and service quality, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and value creation.

To succeed in this role, you need

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience working with Point of Sale (POS) or other business-critical applications in retail, food service, or similar operational environments.
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into practical technology solutions, process improvements, and functional specifications.
• Solid understanding of application ecosystems, including integrations, APIs, data flows, and master data management.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and external partners in a complex environment.
• Knowledge of application support, service management, vendor management, and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and drive effective solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Experience working in international and hybrid environments with both local and remote teams.
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
