Investment Banking Director - M&A

About the Opportunity We are working with an established investment banking firm in Stockholm seeking an experienced M&A Director to join its Corporate Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in originating and executing M&A transactions, managing senior client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the firm’s advisory business. Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
• Originate new mandates and develop long-term relationships with corporate clients, investors and shareholders.
• Advise clients on transaction strategy, valuations and deal structuring.
• Oversee financial modelling, valuation analyses and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and negotiations with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor junior investment banking professionals.
• Support business development initiatives and the expansion of the firm’s client network.

Candidate Requirements

• Significant professional experience in M&A advisory, investment banking or corporate finance.
• Proven track record of executing M&A transactions.
• Strong deal origination and client relationship management capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of financial modelling, valuation methodologies and transaction structuring.
• Experience leading transaction teams and managing multiple mandates.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Native-level Swedish proficiency is mandatory.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
