What you'll do

Would you like to join one of Urban Partners’ Transactions Teams, as our next Investment Analyst? About The Role We are looking for two Investment Analysts to join our investment teams in Stockholm. One position will join our Strategic Transactions team (MAST), while the other will join our Swedish Real Estate Transactions team. While the two roles have different investment focuses, both offer the opportunity to work hands-on with investments and transactions throughout the investment process, combining financial analysis and modelling with transaction execution and close collaboration across deal teams. Strategic Transactions (MAST) Our Strategic Transactions team drives the firm’s strategic, complex and structured situations, joint venture setups, platform building and corporate buyout transactions, including M&A and public-to-private transactions, with a sector- and geography-agnostic investment scope. Swedish Real Estate Transactions Our Swedish Real Estate Transactions team focuses on direct property transactions, both direct acquisitions and divestments as well as forward fundings and JV setup, screening both standing assets but also developments. As part of the team, you will contribute to the analysis, underwriting and execution of real estate investment opportunities in Sweden and work closely with colleagues throughout the investment process. Across both positions, you will be an integral part of the deal team and gain exposure to different stages of the investment process. You will be responsible for developing key elements of investment analysis and underwriting, conducting financial modelling, preparing decision-making materials, and supporting transaction execution. You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will support your development while giving you responsibility from an early stage. Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate investment opportunities and leads.
  • Produce the analytical foundation for evaluating investment opportunities including material preparation for key decision-making forums and financial modelling.
  • Contribute to the development of business plans for portfolio companies and work closely with management teams to create operational value.
  • Support portfolio management activities related to existing and new investments.
  • Create investment memoranda to the investment committee.
  • Support analysis and execution of strategic initiatives and business development topics.
  • Build relationships with advisors, brokers, and counterparties.

Your Experience And Skills We are looking for two motivated and analytical colleagues who thrive in a fast-paced investment environment. Across both teams, we value an entrepreneurial mindset, strong collaboration and communication skills, and people who take ownership of their work. To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • An academic degree (minimum BSc), ideally within finance, economics, real estate, engineering, law or another relevant field, with strong academic results.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience, including relevant full-time roles, internships or student positions, within investment banking, real estate investing, private equity, corporate finance, management consulting or a similar environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and practical financial modelling experience, with the ability to work independently with financial models.
  • Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English.

Your Character

  • High integrity and a genuine willingness to learn.
  • An ambitious and proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage parts of complex projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a collaborative attitude, and entrepreneurial drive.

What We Offer

  • Make a difference by helping create urban spaces and places that enrich people’s lives in the most sustainable way.
  • Lead the industry with an innovator that is pioneering new approaches while raising standards and inspiring the industry.
  • Learn and grow as part of a powerhouse of brilliant people where teamwork, feedback and different ways of thinking are at the core.
  • Be your whole self in a purpose-driven culture with a strong sense of belonging, based on trust, celebration and caring for each other.
