What you'll do

We are looking for Integration Consultants to join our integration and API management team in Finland! Role overview We are hiring an Integration Specialist who combines hands‑on integration engineering with a consultative, client‑focused approach. At Solita, Integration Specialists enable seamless system communication by designing and implementing integration solutions. Typical work includes platform configuration, building and maintaining integration flows, ensuring secure and reliable data movement, and aligning integrations with business processes and long‑term IT strategy. You will work directly with integration platforms and tools to implement integrations based on business requirements, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to platform development and automation. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, platform owners and customer teams, applying best practices and integration patterns with security and reusability in mind. Supporting sales by contributing to proposals, preparing technical materials and participating in customer meetings is an important part of the role. We focus on modern API design, cloud integration, and automation, always choosing the right tools for the client's needs. Quality and best practices guide all our work, and we actively leverage AI to boost our development capabilities and deliver even better solutions. Our core integration technologies include MuleSoft, Apache Camel and Azure tools and we also work with technologies like Kafka and Workato. With us, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects both in the public and private sectors. The role can have different emphases and responsibilities depending on experience. Below are a few typical levels to illustrate the range of responsibilities and impact we expect; the position you apply for may emphasise one or more of these areas. Integration Specialist Independently delivers integration solutions in familiar or well‑defined contexts, helping customers build interfaces that support their business processes and connect strategic IT systems. Implements integrations, configures tools, and resolves standard issues using best practices and patterns. Ensures documentation, testing, and operational readiness of solutions, including clear handover and runbook‑level guidance. Collaborates with developers and guides customers to clarify process requirements so that implementations align with business and delivery goals. Senior specialist Leads integration development within a project or domain, guiding customers in designing integration flows that strengthen their business processes and connect key systems. Handles more complex technical challenges and recommends best practices and patterns. Mentors junior colleagues and supports team learning. Aligns with architects and architecture guidance to ensure platform best practices, reusability, and maintainable implementations across the delivery scope, while helping customers make informed decisions throughout the project. We will discuss the exact scope and focus of your role based on your experience, skills, and interests. Depending on your level of experience and responsibility, your monthly salary will range from 4000 € to 5900 €. What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Hands‑on experience building and maintaining system integrations.
  • Good conceptual understanding of iPaaS solutions, common communication protocols and message formats.
  • Experience with API management tools, modern API design and public cloud service components.
  • Interest in AI and how it can enhance development workflows, improve solution quality, or create value for customers.
  • Ability to work as a consultant and trusted advisor to customers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and bridge business and technology.
  • Interest and experience in supporting sales activities: solution planning, scoping implementations and participating in customer meetings.
  • Experience in automation and lifecycle management of integration platforms, from implementation to optimisation and long‑term support.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different integration tools and languages as needed.
  • Please note that some of our current projects require fluency in Finnish.
