Instagram Team Lead

We’re looking for our next Instagram Team Lead Instagram is no longer simply a promotional channel for Last Week in Denmark. With more than 5,700 followers and over 500 posts, it has developed into a media production of its own, with news explainers, original videos, commentary, podcast content, and series like “Denmark’s Invisible Borders.” And now we’re looking for someone to lead its next chapter. As Instagram Team Lead, you will help decide what we cover, which stories become reels or carousels, what new formats we should create, and how we can grow the channel without losing what makes Last Week in Denmark different. You don’t need to make everything yourself. There is a team around you. Your role is to bring direction and people together. We are looking for someone with creativity and leadership. Maybe your background is journalism, communication, social media, video, design, or marketing. More important is that you understand our audience: people who have made Denmark part of their lives and deserve information created with them in mind. And we are not looking for someone simply to maintain what already exists. We want someone who has ideas about what our Instagram site could become next. This is a volunteer leadership role, but one with real ownership of an established media channel and audience. Interested?
