At Global Wind Organisation (GWO), we’re looking for a motivated Student Assistant to join our Technology team. You’ll work on real operational tasks from day one, help keep our digital workplace running smoothly, and develop valuable skills in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. About GWO Global Wind Organisation (GWO) is a non-profit body founded by wind turbine manufacturers and owners. We are a small, purpose-driven team with a flat organisational structure and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. The Role As part of the GWO Secretariat, you will become an integrated member of our Technology team responsible for delivering reliable day-to-day operations. You’ll be the first point of contact for colleagues needing assistance, and you will directly contribute to building a strong and mature IT foundation that supports our global mission. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will help support and continuously improve our IT operations by:

  • Providing first-line IT support for Microsoft 365, laptops, phones, and meeting room systems
  • Handling IT requests and incidents professionally and with a service mindset
  • Assisting with user administration, access management, and onboarding/offboarding
  • Maintaining and update IT process and operations documentation
  • Contributing to improvements in IT operations and user experience
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth daily operations

Who we are looking for

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's programme (IT or a related field)
  • Minimum 18 months left in your university enrollment
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or similar tools
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset, service-minded, and a clear communicator

We review applications on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Please send your application and CV using the “apply” button.
