Information Technology Manager

IT Manager We're supporting an innovative technology company in Gothenburg in the search for a hands-on IT Manager to take ownership of their entire IT environment on an initial 6-month contract. This is not a role for someone who only manages suppliers or sits in strategy meetings. We're looking for a technical IT leader who is comfortable shaping the IT roadmap while remaining involved in day-to-day operations, infrastructure and troubleshooting when required. What you'll be doing

• Taking ownership of the company's IT environment across cloud, infrastructure, endpoints and workplace technology.
• Managing and improving Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID and Azure environments.
• Overseeing networks, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi and office infrastructure.
• Managing external IT suppliers, MSPs and technology vendors.
• Driving IT security, governance and compliance initiatives.
• Managing budgets, procurement, software licensing and technology investments.
• Developing IT policies, standards and long-term roadmaps.
• Acting as the main point of contact for all IT-related matters across the business.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as an IT Manager, Head of IT, IT Operations Manager or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID and Azure.
• Broad infrastructure knowledge covering networking, firewalls, VPNs and endpoint management.
• Experience managing vendors, suppliers and outsourced service providers.
• Exposure to information security, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Experience managing IT budgets, procurement and licensing.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical delivery.
• ISO 27001 or ISMS experience.
• Automotive, manufacturing, engineering or technology sector experience.
