IAM (Identity and Access Management) Operations Specialist

For one of our financial clients we are looking for a IAM Operations Specialist. The consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations and ad hoc projects related to Identity and Access Management (IAM). This position focuses on stabilizing resources for operational execution in alignment with strategic roadmaps. Main Responsibilities

• Support IAM daily operations through execution and project involvement.
• Execute and support Joiner / Mover / Leaver (JML) processes.
• Handle IAM-related ServiceNow requests and incidents (access, entitlements, role corrections).
• Support daily access and entitlement handling based on defined processes and runbooks.
• Coordinate operational tasks with User Administration and Service Desk.
• Prepare factual input and evidence for security and audit activities.
• Support cleanup of excess, obsolete, or misaligned access.
• Execute remediation tasks defined by IAM Governance or Security.
• Follow defined IAM processes and escalate design, policy, or risk questions accordingly.
• Contribute to reducing manual workarounds and recurring IAM incidents.
• Support backlog reduction through structured execution.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with IAM operations.
• Solid understanding of Joiner / Mover / Leaver (JML) processes.
• Knowledge of Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and Privileged Access Management (PAM/PIM).
• Practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and Workflows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Logic Apps and Active Directory.
• Experience with ServiceNow for access requests and incidents.
• Strong data analysis skills, particularly with Excel / CSV at an operational level.

Nice to Have

• Experience from regulated environments (finance, insurance).
• Familiarity with IAM cleanup and stabilization after go-live.
• Experience working with large IAM backlogs and legacy access models.

Other Details The position is based in Copenhagen, and the consultant needs to be present onsite. The rate for this position is aligned with mid-market levels.
