IAM Consultant

We are looking for a Senior IAM Operations Consultant for our Client in the financial industry The consultant will support day-to-day IAM operations and help stabilise IAM services as part of the NLP DK strategy roadmap. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited for an experienced IAM professional who is comfortable working in a complex enterprise environment and collaborating across IAM, Security and operational teams.

Key responsibilities The consultant will be focused on supporting IAM daily Ops and ad hoc projects to stabilise resources for Programme part of NLP DK strategy roadmap delivery timeline

1. IAM operational execution (backfill)

• Execute and support Joiner / Mover / Leaver (JML) processes
• Handle IAM‑related ServiceNow requests and incidents (access, entitlements, role corrections)
• Support daily access and entitlement handling based on defined processes and runbooks
• Coordinate operational tasks with Nordea User Administration and Service Desk

1. Support to security and audit activities (execution only)

• Prepare factual input and evidence for security and audit activities (e.g. user lists, privileged access overviews)
• Support clean‑up of excess, obsolete, or misaligned access
• Execute remediation tasks defined by IAM Governance or Security

1. Operational coordination and stabilisation

• Follow defined IAM processes and escalate design, policy, or risk questions to IAM Governance
• Contribute to reducing manual workarounds and recurring IAM incidents
• Support backlog reduction through structured execution

Boundaries (explicit) The consultant does not define IAM policy, architecture, or risk acceptance The consultant does not own audit decisions or governance only support when needed with data The role is execution‑focused, operating under established direction from IAM Governance / Security Lead

Must-have knowledge and experience

• Strong hands on experience with IAM operations
• Solid understanding of: Joiner / Mover / Leaver (JML), Role based access control (RBAC), Privileged Access Management (PAM/PIM)
• Practical experience with: Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Microsoft Entra ID Workflows, Microsoft Logic Apps, Active Directory, ServiceNow (access requests, incidents)
• Strong data analysis skills (Excel / CSV at operational level)
• High attention to detail and ability to work systematically

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

• Experience from regulated environments (finance, insurance)
• Familiarity with IAM clean up and stabilisation after go live
• Experience working with large IAM backlogs and legacy access models
