HVAC Engineer

Join a leading global life sciences organisation supporting a major pharmaceutical manufacturing project. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to contribute to a large-scale, complex facility environment, working on critical HVAC systems within a highly regulated setting. The Role As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for the design review, calculation, and coordination of HVAC systems across a significant engineering project. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure HVAC solutions meet project and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Include

• Reviewing and interpreting AF&ID drawings
• Performing airflow calculations
• Calculating duct sizing requirements
• Designing and sizing inline duct equipment including:
• Sound attenuators
• Fire dampers
• Smoke control dampers
• MCDs
• VCDs
• Grilles
• Producing and reviewing engineering documentation
• Creating and managing redline mark-ups
• Supporting project execution and site activities

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC engineering
• Background in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Engineering
• Experience working on large and complex building projects
• Previous site-based experience
• Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and calculations
• Ability to review and redline technical drawings and documentation
• Knowledge of relevant HVAC standards including:
• DS428
• DS447
• DS452
• DS469
• Fluent English communication skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
