Human Resources Specialist

HR Partner – Flexible Part-Time Assignment Location: Gothenburg Scope: 1–2 days per week, with flexibility depending on business needs Assignment type: Interim / Consulting assignment Do you enjoy being the person who makes HR work in practice? We are looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Partner who can support an established organisation across the full range of day-to-day HR topics. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working close to the business, solving problems, supporting managers and employees, and making sure that HR matters are handled professionally and pragmatically. The organisation does not necessarily need a full-time HR function. Instead, they are looking for an experienced HR professional who can step in 1–2 days per week, provide continuity and expertise, and take responsibility for HR matters as they arise. The role You will act as a trusted HR partner to management and employees, providing practical support across the employee lifecycle. The role is deliberately broad. Depending on the organisation's needs, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting managers in day-to-day HR matters
• Employment contracts, policies and HR documentation
• Recruitment and onboarding
• Employee relations and workplace matters
• Employment law and interpretation of relevant regulations
• Performance management and employee development
• Salary reviews, compensation and benefits
• Absence, sick leave and rehabilitation processes
• Work environment and organisational issues
• HR administration and employee records
• Supporting organisational changes and restructuring
• Handling employee questions and providing practical guidance
• Developing and improving HR routines, policies and processes
• Supporting managers in difficult conversations and people-related decisions
• Liaising with external HR, payroll, legal or other specialists when required

You will not simply provide advice from the sidelines. We are looking for someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. Who are we looking for? You are an experienced HR professional who can operate independently and quickly understand what a business needs. You probably have experience from a broad HR role, such as HR Business Partner, HR Manager, HR Generalist or similar. We believe you have:

• Several years of practical HR experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish employment law and HR practices
• Experience supporting managers and employees directly
• A broad understanding of the employee lifecycle
• The ability to work independently and prioritise what matters
• A pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The confidence to handle sensitive and sometimes difficult HR situations
• A hands-on mindset – you are comfortable both advising and executing

Experience from a smaller or entrepreneurial organisation is an advantage, as the role requires someone who is comfortable working across different HR areas rather than within a narrowly defined specialist function. A flexible HR resource This assignment is designed to provide the organisation with access to experienced HR expertise without the need for a full-time HR position. The expected commitment is approximately 1–2 days per week, but the exact setup can be adapted to the organisation's needs. Some periods may require more hands-on support, while others may be lighter.
