Health Safety Environment Advisor

HSE Advisor – Data Centre Construction Location: Enebakk, Norway Duration: Immediate start until June 2027 We are seeking an HSE Advisor for a data centre construction project in Enebakk. The role focuses on supporting safe execution of construction and civil works, working closely with project management, contractors and site teams. Key responsibilities

• Monitor HSE performance and promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Conduct site inspections, safety observations and audits, following up corrective actions.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and safe work procedures.
• Support safe execution of excavation, groundworks, lifting operations, work at height and other construction activities.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring lessons learned are shared.
• Coordinate HSE activities across contractors and maintain project HSE documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Relevant HSE education or professional qualifications.
• Experience in site-based HSE roles within construction and civil works.
• Knowledge of Norwegian HSE requirements and construction safety practices.
• Experience with risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, practical approach.
• Data centre or large industrial construction experience is an advantage.
