What you'll do

Overview We are now recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager for a high profile Mission Critical Data Center construction project in Denmark. Who we are? With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-discipline team of 4,000+ people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE management systems
  • Ensure compliance with Danish/EU safety regulations and standards
  • Lead safety inductions, training programs, and toolbox talks
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Manage incident investigation, reporting, and corrective actions
  • Oversee permit-to-work systems and high-risk activity controls
  • Coordinate with contractors on HSE performance and compliance
  • Manage environmental aspects, waste management, and sustainability
  • Lead emergency response planning and crisis management procedures
  • Prepare HSE reports, KPIs, and regulatory submissions
  • Interface with regulatory authorities and client HSE representatives
  • Manage HSE team and coordinate with site management

Qualifications

  • 8+ years HSE management on major construction projects
  • Professional HSE qualifications (NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, CMIOSH)
  • Extensive knowledge of Danish/EU safety legislation and standards
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects (€100M+)
  • Background in data center or mission-critical facility projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction hazards and risk management
  • Incident investigation and regulatory compliance experience
  • Data center construction safety requirements and protocols
  • Advanced risk assessment and safety management capabilities
  • Training delivery and behavioral safety leadership
  • Fluent English; local language skills desireable
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities
