Head of Security Advisory

NeuroStrike is an Oslo-based startup building autonomous AI penetration testing. Our AI agents attack systems the way real attackers do — and prove what they find. Everything runs on sovereign Norwegian infrastructure, so customer data stays in Norway. We're scaling, and we're creating a new leadership role: Head of Security Advisory. THE ROLE This is a new leadership role for an experienced security leader who wants to combine advisory work with something genuinely new. You will advise CISOs, IT leaders and management across enterprises, the public sector and partners: shaping solutions in pre-sales, designing how NeuroStrike fits into their network and cloud architecture, getting them onboarded and active, and guiding them strategically on risk, protective security and compliance. You bring the experience of having sat on the customer's side of the table — as a CISO, security lead or incident responder — and you will help define how we deliver advisory value, and build the team around it as we grow. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Lead the technical side of pre-sales: discovery, demos, solution design and proposals • Design how NeuroStrike fits into customers' network and cloud architecture, including on-prem and sovereign deployments • Own onboarding and customer activation so every customer gets real value quickly • Act as a strategic advisor to customer leadership on risk, priorities, protective security and compliance (NIS2, the Security Act, ISO 27001) • Turn test findings into prioritised, business-relevant action plans — and help customers act on them • Shape our advisory offering and, as we grow, build and lead the team around it WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • You must be willing and eligible to be authorised for classified information at BEGRENSET / NATO RESTRICTED level, and to undergo security clearance (sikkerhetsklarering) under the Norwegian Security Act if a customer assignment requires it. This is required due to the nature of our customers. • 10+ years in IT security and infrastructure, including senior roles such as CISO, security lead or principal security consultant • Experience advising management and senior stakeholders on security risk and strategy • Strong network and cloud architecture background (e.g. Microsoft Azure) • Experience from incident response, security operations or protective security work • Good understanding of penetration testing and vulnerability management — you can turn findings into clear priorities • Fluent Norwegian and professional English, written and spoken NICE TO HAVE • Experience with protective security under the Norwegian Security Act (sikkerhetsloven) and NSM's grunnprinsipper for IKT-sikkerhet • Experience leading an advisory, consulting or incident response team • Familiarity with NIS2, ISO 27001, DORA and GDPR • Experience from MSPs, IT partners or consultancies serving the public sector and regulated industries • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent experience WHAT WE OFFER • Competitive salary and terms • A new leadership role you get to shape from day one — and the chance to build the advisory team around it • Work with AI that proves real security risk, instead of reports nobody acts on WHY NEUROSTRIKE • Bring something genuinely new to customers: AI that proves real security risk, with data kept in Norway • Strong timing — NIS2, the Security Act and data sovereignty are top of the agenda for Nordic organisations • A central office at Aker Brygge, Oslo — hybrid working • Join early and grow with the company as we scale
