Head of Region West, Private Banking

Job ID: 6458 We are seeking a dynamic, customer-centric, and experienced leader to take on a new role as Head of Region West. In this role you will lead all Private Banking teams in in western Sweden; 35 private bankers organised in three teams across the region. About This Opportunity The Head of Region West is central in driving our growth strategy. Focus is to increase our market share by welcoming new customers and continuously exceeding their expectations. There will be focus on sharpening our value proposition including introducing digital-first service model for affluent customers. You will work closely with other colleagues throughout the bank, Personal Banking, Business banking and Large Corporate & institutions as well as Asset & Wealth Management to bring the best the bank has to offer to customers. The Head of Region West will report to Lotta Bourgoin, Head of Private Banking Sweden. You will be part of the leadership team of Privat Banking SE and the position is based in Gothenburg. Your profile and background Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement strategies to build and grow the business and value proposition.
• Lead and inspire a large team of advisors and specialists.
• Build strong and long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and developing tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with other business areas within Nordea to ensure a holistic approach in overall offering, covering both the private and corporate side.
• Stay on top of market trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within our offering to meet and exceed client expectations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
• Ability to represent the values of Nordea to the external community.

Candidate Profile:

• At least 10 years of experience in the financial sector, with several years in a leadership position.
• Experience in leading and motivating large teams.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. High integrity and professionalism.
• Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and grow business.
• Innovative and proactive in identifying and driving new opportunities.
• Ability to build a “Centre of Excellence” within our segment.
• Strategic ability to see what needs to be done, both short and long term, with a solution oriented mindset.
• Extensive experience within Private Wealth Management.
• Complementing experience in business operations, lending, real estate, investment banking or wealth management will be meriting.
• Digital customer understanding and experience with increasing efficiency of service models.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Academic degree in economics, finance, law, or similar fields.
