Role snapshot
Turn great products into campaigns customers can’t miss. At Flying Tiger Copenhagen, there is always something new on the shelves. A new product to discover, a seasonal moment to celebrate or a little something you didn’t know you needed until you saw it. Now we’re looking for a Head of Marketing Execution to join us in a 1-year interim position covering parental leave. While the role is temporary, the ambition isn’t. You’ll step into a senior marketing leadership position with the opportunity to shape how we bring our commercial priorities to life across stores, digital channels and markets. This is a role for someone who loves the sweet spot between commercial strategy, creativity and brilliant execution. You’ll connect the dots between what we’re bringing to market and how we create excitement and demand for it. This is where product meets marketing You’ll work closely with colleagues across Buying, Product Development and Merchandising to understand our product range, commercial priorities and biggest opportunities. From there, you’ll turn those priorities into integrated campaign strategies that work across paid and organic digital, retail, CRM and local market activation. In other words, you won’t simply receive a marketing plan and execute it. You’ll help shape the plan from the start. And because a great strategy is only as good as what customers actually see, you’ll also make sure we deliver. Beautifully, consistently and with commercial impact. What you’ll be doing You’ll lead our marketing execution engine and a talented team covering digital growth, retail marketing and campaign management. Your days will include: - Shaping our campaign strategy, together with Buying, Product Development and Merchandising, ensuring our biggest commercial opportunities get the attention they deserve. - Leading campaigns from idea to impact, across digital, retail and local markets. - Growing our digital performance, overseeing paid and organic social, search and other growth opportunities. - Making our stores part of the marketing magic, ensuring retail activation is considered from day one, not as an afterthought. - Leading and developing a team of four, creating clarity, ownership and plenty of room for people to grow. - Making smart investment choices, using insight and commercial thinking to decide where our marketing budget can work hardest. - Connecting teams and markets, bringing global strategy and local execution together. - Measuring what matters, learning from performance and using those insights to make the next campaign even better. You’ll also be an important part of the marketing leadership team, working closely with CRM & Loyalty, Brand & Creative Content and Marketing Intelligence to create one joined-up customer experience. Who are you? You’re an experienced marketing leader who is as comfortable discussing the commercial potential of a product range as you are challenging a media plan or reviewing campaign performance. You know retail. You understand that timing matters, that stores and digital channels need to work together, and that marketing becomes much stronger when it is involved early in the commercial conversation. We imagine you bring: - 8+ years of marketing experience, ideally from retail, consumer or another fast-moving commercial environment - Strong experience developing campaign strategy, not only executing it - A track record of working closely with Buying, Product or other commercial teams - Experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams - Solid knowledge of digital marketing, including paid and organic social and search - Experience running complex, multi-channel campaigns across several markets - Strong commercial instincts and confidence working with budgets, KPIs and ROI - A data-driven mindset, balanced with curiosity and good judgement - The ability to bring different stakeholders together and turn complexity into clear direction - Fluency in English Most importantly, you’re someone who thinks strategically and gets things done. You’re curious about the customer, excited by the product and motivated by seeing a plan come alive in the real world. Come join the tiger At Flying Tiger Copenhagen, marketing is close to the product, close to the customer and close to the commercial heartbeat of the business. For one exciting year, you’ll have the opportunity to influence what we put behind, when we put it out there and how millions of customers experience it across channels and markets. And further, we offer: - A fantastic central Copenhagen location. - Attractive pension scheme. - Private health insurance (including children). - Flexible working, including the option to work from home. - A fun, social, and dynamic culture. - Events, Friday bars, staff clubs, and more. - An international workplace rooted in Scandinavian values. - Daily restaurant-quality food. - …and much more.
