About the role As Head of Hedging Offerings, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the strategy, development, commercial performance, and lifecycle management of Fortum’s hedging offering portfolio. You will ensure that every hedging offerings are grounded in a clear understanding of customers’ needs and challenges, translating those insights into relevant, simple and flexible solutions for each customer. You will lead a team of Product Managers and embed customer centricity in how priorities are set, solutions are co-created, and performance is measured. By collaborating with customers, Sales, Trading, Development, and other key stakeholders, you will turn insight into a competitive, scalable, and profitable portfolio that simplifies complex energy markets easier to navigate and strengthens long-term customer relationships. Key tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Lead, coach, and develop the Hedging Offerings Product Management team, fostering accountability for customer outcomes, collaboration, and high performance.
• Define and execute a customer-led strategy, roadmap, and set of differentiated value propositions for Fortum’s hedging offering portfolio.
• Develop a structured understanding of customer segments, interaction paths, business goals, challenges and risk management needs through direct engagement, research, data, and feedback.
• Engage customers and customer-facing teams in the discovery, validation, co-development, and continuous improvement of offerings before scaling them across the market.
• Own portfolio performance and lifecycle management, balancing customer value, adoption, satisfaction, growth, profitability, competitiveness, and prioritization.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Development to transform market capabilities into transparent, relevant, and easy-to-use solutions tailored to different customer needs and risk appetites.
• Act as Business Owner for relevant development initiatives, prioritizing investments based on validated customer problems, expected customer outcomes, and commercial potential.
• Build trusted internal and external partnerships and ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across the entire offering lifecycle.

About you To succeed in this role, you combine strong leadership with commercial judgement, a sincere interest in customers and a solid understanding of energy markets. You are comfortable spending time with customers, challenging internal assumptions, and using evidence to make choices We also expect you to bring:

• Proven leadership experience: A strong track record of leading and developing teams, setting direction, and translating strategy into execution.
• A strong customer orientation: Demonstrated ability to uncover customer needs, build segment-specific value propositions, co-create solutions, and use feedback and customer outcomes to guide priorities.
• Energy-market and hedging expertise: A solid understanding of Nordic power markets, electricity hedging, trading products, and the risk-management needs of corporate customers and electricity retailers.
• Product and portfolio management capability: Experience in developing customer-led strategies, journeys, value propositions, roadmaps, and scalable commercial offerings across their lifecycle.
• A commercial mindset: The ability to connect superior customer value and experience with market opportunities, risk, adoption, profitability, and sustainable growth.
• Change leadership: Confidence in making decisions, managing priorities, and leading teams and stakeholders through change while keeping customers’ needs visible.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills: The ability to listen, build trust, and align customers and stakeholders across Sales, Trading, Development, and other functions.
• Fluency in English: Strong written and spoken English; proficiency in Swedish and/or Finnish language is an advantage.
