Hardware Engineer (Electronics Design, Space Technology), Beyond Gravity, Tampere

About the role

As a HW Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical specification, design, and analysis of electronic circuit boards, as well as their verification and validation for demanding satellite systems. You will play a key role throughout the hardware development lifecycle, translating system-level requirements into functional block- and module-level solutions, and further into detailed circuit schematics.

Work tasks

• Technical specification and design of circuit boards (HW design)
• Analysis, verification, and validation of electronics solutions
• Refining system-level requirements into viable design solutions
• Managing and documenting requirements to a high standard of quality
• Collaboration with system designers and other stakeholders to ensure optimal subsystem functionality
• Expert support for the team and mentoring junior team members

We are looking for

• Expertise in electronics design and printed circuit board (PCB) development
• Understanding of requirement-based design and documentation
• Ability to grasp the big picture and break down complex problems into manageable parts
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• A desire to share your knowledge and support team development
• Fluent skills in English
