What you'll do

Temporary - Graphic Designer – Marketing and Events 1 December - 30 April 2027 About the role We’re looking for a temporary (consultant/freelance) talented and hands-on Graphic Designer to join our creative team and help bring our brand to life across events, campaigns and marketing communications. Working closely with our Events and wider Marketing teams, you’ll translate ideas and briefs into engaging, consistent and high-quality designs across a broad range of physical and digital touchpoints. This opportunity is for a fixed period from 1 December 2026 to 30 April 2027. A key focus of the role will be supporting our Events team, taking projects from initial concept through to final production. You’ll create everything from exhibition and booth graphics, signage and large-format artwork to presentations, digital screens, invitations and printed collateral. Alongside events, you’ll provide creative support across the Marketing team, developing and adapting assets for campaigns, product marketing, corporate communications, social media, presentations, digital channels and print. This is a great opportunity for a designer who enjoys both creative thinking and hands-on production. You’ll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with others, taking initiative and finding practical solutions to design and production challenges, while asking questions when needed to clarify briefs and keep projects on track. You’ll take pride in getting every detail right, from the first idea through to final delivery. What you will do · Design and produce creative materials across events, product marketing, and marketing communications · Support exhibitions, conferences, and internal events from concept through production and delivery · Create booth and exhibition graphics, signage, large-format artwork, presentations, digital screens and printed collateral · Develop and adapt campaign assets for digital, social and print channels · Support Product Marketing with presentations, promotional materials and other marketing assets · Create engaging materials for corporate and internal communications · Translate creative concepts and brand guidelines into effective designs across multiple formats and touchpoints · Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork for print, digital and large-format applications · Work closely with printers, exhibition suppliers and other external production partners · Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing to understand briefs, priorities and deadlines · Manage multiple projects and deliverables while maintaining a consistently high standard of creative quality · Help ensure a strong and consistent expression of our brand across all marketing and event touchpoints What you bring You’re a creative and hands-on designer who enjoys seeing an idea develop from an initial brief into something tangible, whether that’s an exhibition experience, campaign, presentation or digital asset. You combine a strong creative eye with excellent production skills and are equally comfortable developing ideas and executing the details. You understand how to work within a brand identity while finding creative ways to make communications engaging, clear and relevant. You’re collaborative, organized and comfortable working in a fast-moving marketing environment. You enjoy partnering with different teams, managing multiple deliverables and taking ownership of your work through to final production. Skills & experience · Professional experience in graphic design, visual communication or a related creative field, supported by a strong portfolio · Experience designing across both print and digital channels, ideally within an in-house creative or marketing team, agency or similar environment · Experience creating event, exhibition or environmental graphics, including large-format applications · Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma · Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition and visual hierarchy · Strong knowledge of artwork preparation and print and digital production · Ability to take projects from brief and concept through design, artwork and final delivery · Experience working with established brand identities and adapting creative concepts across multiple formats · Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution · Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines · Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both creative and non-creative stakeholders Nice to have · Experience within healthcare, medtech, technology or another B2B environment · Experience supporting global brands, international events or multi-market campaigns · Strong skills in PowerPoint and creating polished, brand-aligned presentations · Experience with motion graphics, video or Adobe After Effects · Experience designing graphics for physical spaces, exhibitions or branded environments How to apply Please send your application to Jill Preston (Group Manager Design) at jill.preston@raysearchlabs.com.
