Gold Controller & Office Manager

Gold Adam Group is establishing a new gold controlling hub in Trondheim, and we’re looking for our first team member to join us on this exciting journey. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on work with precious metals and responsibility for running a local office. No previous experience in gold or precious metals is required. We’ll provide comprehensive training, giving you the knowledge and practical skills you need to succeed. You'll play an important role in establishing our Trondheim operation, with the opportunity to develop your expertise as the business grows. As the team expands, there may also be opportunities for career progression. What you’ll do Gold controlling - You’ll learn to assess and handle gold and other precious metals using our established tools, methods and procedures.

• Weigh, test and assess precious metals to determine their value
• Receive, register and securely store incoming deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing precious metals
• Follow established procedures, security routines and ethical standards
• Support quality and accuracy across daily operations

Office management - Alongside gold controlling, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Trondheim office.

• Run the office day to day: post, deliveries, supplies and orders
• Be the local contact for the landlord, suppliers and service providers
• Keep the office and security routines in order
• Handle basic admin and reporting to the team in Finland
• Assist agents and visitors in Norwegian and English

What we’re looking for We’re not looking for a ready-made precious metals expert. We’re looking for a reliable, proactive and detail-oriented person who is motivated to learn and comfortable taking responsibility.

• Fluent Norwegian and good English, spoken and written
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail
• A reliable, honest and responsible way of working
• Initiative, and the ability to work independently
• Good organisational skills and confidence working with numbers
• An interest in learning new skills and taking on varied responsibilities
• Experience in jewellery, precious metals, goldsmithing, office administration or other detail-oriented work is an advantage

Employment terms

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, at our office in Trondheim (on-site role)
• Salary: NOK 45,000 per month + holiday pay and occupational pension
• Start date: as soon as possible
