Generative AI Engineer

Generative AI / Python Engineer (Oslo) Join a product engineering team building next-generation AI capabilities into an established enterprise platform. You'll be responsible for designing, prototyping and delivering production-grade Generative AI features that solve real customer problems and integrate into complex business workflows. Responsibilities:

• Design and build Generative AI features from concept through to production
• Develop AI-powered workflows, agents and automation capabilities
• Build and optimise RAG pipelines using structured and unstructured data
• Integrate LLMs with internal knowledge bases, business systems and domain-specific datasets
• Work closely with product, engineering and domain experts to deliver scalable AI solutions
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify practical applications within the platform
• Contribute to the wider software architecture and engineering standards of the team
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools as a core part of the engineering workflow

Requirements:

• Strong commercial Python development experience
• Experience delivering Generative AI products or features into production environments
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similar
• Strong understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt engineering, Embedding models, Vector databases and AI workflow design
• Experience integrating LLMs with enterprise data sources and knowledge repositoriesComfortable working with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or equivalent
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
