About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Asset & Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant to join our Finance team in Copenhagen. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of accounting experience and a solid foundation in bookkeeping and general accounting. You will be responsible for supporting accounts receivable activities, fixed asset accounting, and daily finance operations while helping build efficient accounting processes in a growing startup environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bookkeeping and general accounting activities.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment allocation, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
• Prepare bank, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and external stakeholders.
• Assist with audits and statutory reporting.
• Contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, asset accounting, or general accounting.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing.
• Experience with fixed assets and/or accounts receivable is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and well organized.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and helping build processes from the ground up.
• Fluent in English and Danish.
