Full-stack engineer

About The Role You would work across the FAMLY pnpm monorepo: Next.js in the web app, Fastify in the API, and the shared JavaScript packages households rely on. Demo mode and live household data already exist. The work is product in a real codebase, not a greenfield rewrite. What you'll do

• Ship features in the Next.js app and Fastify API: calendar, meals, chores, money, co-parenting, and permissions.
• Keep household sync, roles, and Kids Mode access correct when more than one person is in the home.
• Work in the monorepo with pnpm and shared packages, and with the Capacitor mobile shell when a change has to reach phones.
• Leave the product calmer than you found it. Families notice bugs at 7:40 on a school morning.

What we're looking for

• Strong JavaScript across React and Next.js, plus a Node API. Fastify experience is a plus.
• Comfort with a pnpm monorepo, shared packages, and product code that already has opinions.
• Care about permissions, offline-friendly paths, and data that more than one adult can edit.
• Based in Europe or South Africa, with overlap across European and SAST hours.
