Full Stack Developer

Join an early-stage fintech company building AI-powered accounting for SMBs

Rise Technologies is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team in Jyväskylä. We're building AI-powered bookkeeping that handles small and medium businesses' finances automatically — purchase invoices, expense reports, receipts, and postings. You'll work alongside experienced fintech professionals, including the founder of Paytrail.

What you'd do

You'll work across the full stack — from backend to frontend. You'll build and maintain Rise's core systems, which handle real money and real customers, not demos. You'll help shape how our AI agents (Rise Accountant, Rise Auditor) perform in production.

You'll work closely with the rest of the development team and have a say in product direction from day one — this isn't a role where you just execute someone else's spec.

Our stack

A rough idea of what we work with: TypeScript, serverless on AWS, relational databases (PostgreSQL), a React web app, and a Flutter mobile app. LLMs power core product features, and AI-assisted development is part of our daily workflow.

You don't need to have used all of this — if you've built real systems with comparable tools, you'll pick it up fast.

What we're looking for

• Solid experience with both backend and frontend development

• Experience with production systems, not just coursework or side projects

• Ability to work independently and take ownership — the team is small, and everyone's work is visible

• Interest in fintech and AI

• Based somewhere in Finland — the Jyväskylä office is available if you'd like to work on-site

• Fluency in English is required; Finnish is a plus

We're not looking for an exact tech-stack checklist. If you learn fast and have built real systems, that counts for more than a specific framework or language on your CV.
