Company Description Avanti Horse develops equestrian equipment with a distinct focus on elegance, functionality, and rider support. With a lifetime of experience in the equine world, the company creates products for equestrians, by equestrians, ensuring that each item is carefully designed and quality-tested. About the book projects We are looking for an illustrator for true short novel about a blind horse. The story is about adversity, grit, courage, and how the love between a horse and a human helped them to conquer many challenges. For the novel (which is the first of three books), we need about eight illustrations (black and white), cover illustration (colour), and illustrations for marketing. About you We are looking for someone who has the ability to:

• Illustrate the unique relationship between a horse and a human.
• Convey horses and people's expressions, both anatomical and emotional.
• Create evocative images that appeal to a wide audience.
• Depict different environments, from beaches on the Mediterranean Sea to dressage competitions.

As a person, you are professional, flexible and reliable. The novel is one of many planned projects with the horse as the main character, so we would like to see a long-term collaboration. It is also advantageous that you master illustrations for different target groups, for example children and non-fiction books. Are you the one we are looking for? Send your CV and a short cover letter to avantihorse.marketing@gmail.com. Please include:

• Any previous experience of similar projects.
• Links to portfolio.
• Claims for compensation.

We are open to different forms of collaborations, and look forward to admiring your savvy creativity! If you proceed after the initial selection, we will ask for work samples that are directly linked to the novel. Do you have any questions? Email avantihorse.marketing@gmail.com.
