Freelance assigment; Voicebot - MS Foundry Cloud / Networking Engineer

emagine is looking for a MS Foundry Cloud / Networking Engineer for one of our customers in the financial sector. The role focuses on supporting the design, setup, and operationalization of cloud and network infrastructure for a production-grade AI Voicebot solution utilizing Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the cloud architecture required to support AI and voice services on Azure.
• Configure network connectivity between Azure services, enterprise systems, APIs, and customer-facing channels.
• Set up and manage Private Endpoints, Private Link, VNET integration, DNS configuration, and secure service-to-service communication.
• Design secure connectivity patterns for Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Speech Services, Microsoft Foundry, and related Azure services.
• Configure load balancing, traffic routing, API exposure, and networking components supporting real-time voice communication.
• Support the implementation of WebSocket-based and low-latency communication patterns required for voice interactions.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities across the platform.
• Ensure platform resilience, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery considerations are addressed.
• Collaborate with security and risk teams to ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot networking, connectivity, performance, and infrastructure-related issues during implementation and production rollout.

Must Haves:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Deep expertise in Azure networking (VNETs, NSGs, Private Link, etc.).
• Experience with secure cloud architectures for applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with AI and data platforms within Azure environments.
• Solid understanding of network security and identity management.
• Experience with Azure operational monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, etc.).
• Proven troubleshooting skills for complex networking issues.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with real-time communication platforms and voice applications.
• Familiarity with WebSocket architectures and streaming APIs.
• Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Speech Services.
• Background in regulated industries (banking, insurance, etc.).
• Understanding of enterprise security frameworks and zero-trust principles.
• Experience supporting GenAI platforms in production.

Other Details: Fulltime position Location: Onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark preferred; Remote within EU, EEA, or UK as secondary preference. Period: 10/1/2026 - 12/18/2026.
