Role snapshot
Cota builds robots that run shifts in real stores: restocking shelves, inbounding goods. We design and assemble our own robot platform in-house. It's CE-marked and working in customer stores. It's far from done. The role You'll own the physical robot: concepting, sketching, rendering, CAD, prototyping, 3D printing, and taking designs to manufacturing and assembly at scale. You'll see your work running in stores within weeks. What you'll do - Concept and visualize new products and subsystems - 3D modeling and CAD of structures, mechanisms and enclosures - Rapid prototyping - Design for manufacturing and assembly - General hardware know-how (GD&T, tolerances, tooling specifics, material selection) - Move fast (!) Who you are Attitude first. A strong track record in hardware design, or an unreasonable appetite to build one. High agency: you spot the problem and ship the fix without being told. How we work We work hard. Long weeks when it matters, demos that have to work tomorrow. All hands on deck should excite you. If that sounds like a cost, this isn't for you. What you get A founding role, ownership of the hardware, meaningful equity. Stockholm, in person.
