What you'll do

Who we are looking for As our Founding Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be the engine behind our sales pipeline - the first Birdsview person many prospects talk to. You'll open doors across Europe and beyond, working closely with our sales team to turn interest into qualified opportunities. Birdsview - Prolonging the lifetime of the built world Birdsview is a Norwegian technology company on a mission to change the way we preserve critical infrastructure to ensure a more sustainable and secure future. Infrastructure is one of society’s most important assets. It includes the buildings we live in, the bridges we cross and the power grid that provides us with electricity. These structures are aging rapidly, and solutions that help preserve and secure critical infrastructure are now needed more than ever. Birdsview's state-of-the-art technology combines radar (GPR), lidar, and AI to visualize what’s inside structures without destructive interventions. This allows for efficient and cost-effective inspection and monitoring of our most precious infrastructures - and enables clear, user-friendly visualizations that enhance understanding, extend asset lifespan, and promote material reuse - ultimately reducing costs and CO₂ emissions. We are 17 people, we have customers in 9 countries, and we raised NOK 40.5 million from leading Nordic VC's to scale internationally. About the job and why it matters Much of concrete inspection today still relies on manual methods and fragmented, ageing non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment. You will help structural engineers, contractors, surveying specialists, and asset owners see clearly what is hidden inside the concrete. New critical data, faster inspections, and real cost savings are why they want our technology in their daily projects. As a Founding BDA, you will be the engine behind our international growth. The role is to reach the right prospects, understand the problems they face, and show them what our technology does. You will build target account lists in HubSpot, make cold calls, drive LinkedIn and email outreach, and book qualified meetings for our sales team. This is a foundational role in a newly established sales team, where you will have a direct impact on our strategy, processes, and success. - Build the target list Research accounts across Europe and North America, and find the people who actually make the decision. - Run outbound Personalised outreach by phone, email and LinkedIn - plus follow-up on inbound leads and contacts from conferences. - Qualify and book Qualify opportunities, book meetings for the sales team, and keep our CRM clean enough that we can see what works. - Know the product and the market Deeply enough to have real conversations, not scripted ones. - Sharpen the message Feed back what you hear from prospects so marketing can build on it. What we're looking for - Hunger and dedication to win. - Clear writing, thoughtful research, and confidence on the phone. - Outbound experience in SaaS, tech or another B2B role is a plus, not a requirement. Able to build pipeline yourself. - Organised and self-driven. - Comfortable working in a CRM. We use HubSpot. - At home where the process is still being figured out, you're helping figuring it out. - Fluent in English. Norwegian, German, Spanish or French is a strong plus given where our customers are. Why this is interesting - Top-tier colleagues Work alongside leading people in a supportive and ambitious team culture, with regular social events and company trips. - Build it yourself Be a foundational member, directly shaping our international sales strategy and playbook. - Room to grow We're building the commercial team right now. What you own in a year depends on what you build in the first six months. - Impact Make a tangible impact on preserving critical infrastructure and fostering a circular economy. - Compensation Competitive salary, commission, and equity - become an owner. - Location Work in Bergen or Oslo with a fast-moving, hands-on team. Excellent working facilities at StartupLab centrally located in both cities. View the full details for the job here. Om arbeidsgiveren: Help us take Birdsview global! Birdsview is building the "MRI for concrete", turning scans into clear answers about what's inside a structure, without breaking it open.
