Founding AI Engineer

Building the Interaction Intelligence layer for teams Humanity Pacts® is building an AI-powered platform at the intersection of artificial intelligence, behavioural science, and the future of work. Humanity Pacts® combines AI with a proprietary methodology developed through years of practical work with teams and organizations. Our ambition is to make human interaction more visible, intentional, and actionable—and to bring a new dimension of intelligence to how teams work together. The methodology is grounded in practice and supported by patented intellectual property. Our work and relationships span organizations including IKEA, Maersk, WHO, UNDP, UNOPS, and Novo Nordisk. The foundation is there. Now we're building the technology and the company to take it further. The opportunity We are looking for a Founding AI Engineer to build the company with us: someone who combines strong engineering skills, product thinking, and an interest in helping an early-stage company secure the resources to grow. This is an opportunity to join at the founding stage and help shape a new category of people technology. You'll work directly with me to translate an established methodology and product vision into a scalable AI-powered product. We expect to start with a close, part-time collaboration while we develop the product and pursue funding, with the goal of moving toward a full-time co-founder commitment as funding and the company's needs allow. This role combines two challenges: building the technology and helping build the company behind it. What you'll do:

• . Continuing building the product
• Translate the existing methodology and product vision into a working AI-powered product.
• Build and iterate on the existing prototye, balancing technical quality with speed, learning, and available resources.
• Build on existing product and AI work, strengthening the technical foundations and turning the current direction into a reliable, usable product.
• Make thoughtful choices about architecture, AI capabilities, data, privacy, and security.
• Work with the founder and pilot customers to test assumptions, learn from real-world use, and shape the product's evolution.

1. Shape the technical direction

• Review and evolve the product architecture and technical roadmap, bringing your expertise and challenging existing assumptions.
• Evaluate technologies and AI approaches against the product's needs.
• Translate complex human and organizational challenges into clear technical requirements and product experiences.
• Identify technical risks, prioritize development, and establish foundations for future scalability.
• Help define the engineering capabilities the company will need as it grows.

1. Support on the narrative for funding

• Work with the founder to develop a credible technical roadmap, milestones, and development budget.
• Contribute to grant and accelerator applications, including technical feasibility and the development plan.
• Help communicate the product's technical vision, differentiation, and potential to funders and investors.
• Prepare technical demonstrations and identify the evidence needed to strengthen the company's funding case.
• Help make strategic decisions about how to develop and scale the product with the resources available.

Who we're looking for You're a builder who wants ownership and enjoys working where technology meets complex human challenges. You can move between engineering, product decisions, and business discussions. You're comfortable working with an early-stage vision, challenging assumptions, and turning uncertainty into a practical development path. You'll likely bring several of these qualities:

• Experience building and shipping software, ideally SaaS products or AI-enabled applications.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to make pragmatic technical decisions.
• Experience with LLM applications, AI systems, data architecture, or modern web technologies—or the ability to learn quickly.
• Product thinking and an interest in solving real user problems, not simply implementing specifications.
• An interest in contributing to funding applications, technical pitches, budgets, or investor conversations.
• A founder mindset: initiative, ownership, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to build from first principles.

Experience with enterprise software, responsible AI, or products involving complex information is valuable. You don't need to match every requirement. I'm looking for someone who can build, think independently, and help turn a promising foundation into a real company. About the founder I'm Analá Farías, founder of Humanity Pacts® and inventor of Humanity Tiles®, a patented tool for making human interaction visible and actionable. My background combines innovation strategy, human-centred design, behavioural change, and organizational development. Over the last five years, I've worked with organizations including IKEA, WHO, UNDP, Novo Nordisk, and Maersk, exploring the human dynamics that shape how people work together. Humanity Pacts® builds on that experience and an established body of proprietary work. I lead the methodology, product vision, customer relationships, and business development.
