What you'll do

About Openroll Openroll is building the AI workforce for HR. We believe the next generation of enterprise software won't just help people work faster. It will do the work alongside them. Our mission is to give every HR team the ability to operate at a scale and speed that was never possible before. We're bringing this vision to life through an agentic platform that connects enterprise systems, data, and knowledge. Our AI agents go beyond answering questions. They analyze complex data, build models and dashboards, execute workflows, and handle HR requests from start to finish, giving teams more time to focus on people and decisions that matter. We're backed by Y Combinator and leading investors and operators, including from OpenAI. Our platform is already used in production by major enterprises across the US and Nordics, and we're just getting started. The role You'll work directly alongside the founder and CEO as a right hand in building and scaling Openroll. This is a role for someone who loves making things happen. One day you might be preparing a presentation for a Fortune 500 company, the next organizing an executive event in San Francisco, researching a new opportunity, or turning an idea into something ready to launch. You'll be involved in everything from sales and partnerships to events, operations, and special projects. You'll take ideas from concept to execution, bring structure to a fast-moving environment, and make sure things get done exceptionally well. You'll get a front-row seat to building a YC-backed AI company, work closely with the people making the decisions, and take real ownership from day one. What you'll do

  • Work directly with the CEO to turn priorities and ideas into action
  • Create exceptional presentations, sales materials, and content for customers, partners, and investors
  • Own the planning and execution of events, conferences, executive dinners, and other initiatives
  • Prepare for important meetings, research companies and opportunities, and coordinate follow-ups
  • Drive operational and strategic projects independently, working with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Find ways to make the company run better, using AI and automation to help us move faster

Who we're looking for

  • Ability over experience. Whether you're a student, recent graduate, or have a few years of experience, we care most about what you can do
  • Ambitious, curious, and excited about startups, technology, and building companies
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and reliable. Nothing falls through the cracks
  • A strong communicator who can turn rough ideas into polished presentations, documents, and deliverables
  • Resourceful and proactive. You figure things out, take initiative, and don't wait to be told what to do
  • Great taste and an eye for quality, whether it's a presentation, an event, or a customer-facing experience
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working in a fast-moving environment
  • Comfortable using AI tools to work smarter, faster, and more independently
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Bonus: experience or internships in startups, investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or similar environments

Why Openroll

  • Work alongside the founder. Get a front-row seat to the decisions, challenges, and opportunities of building a fast-growing AI company
  • Real ownership. Take ideas from zero to one and see the results of your work immediately
  • Unmatched exposure. Get involved in enterprise sales, partnerships, fundraising, events, and company building
  • Move fast. A small, ambitious team with high standards, short feedback loops, and no unnecessary bureaucracy

We're looking for someone who wants to do more than just have a job. Someone who takes pride in making things happen, loves solving problems, and wants to be part of building something from the ground up.
