Forward Deployed Engineer Hyper-Growth AI Start-up Location: Norway Market Leading Salary + Equity The Role We're looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join a rapidly growing scale-up. They are helping the enterprise customers deploy AI agents into production in rapid time and with one of the most innovative platforms in the market. As an FDE you’ll work on a cutting-edge agentic solution, work directly with customers, and own the full path from implementation through production and ongoing iteration. This is a hands on role for high calibre software engineers who enjoy hard technical problems, working with customers and real ownership. What you will do

• Work directly with customers to understand operational challenges and success criteria.
• Build AI agents that integrate with customer systems, data sources, and APIs.
• Translate open-ended problems into clear technical designs and implementations.
• Write production quality code to support integrations, logic, and workflows.
• Own deployments, including reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Test with real data, measure outcomes, and iterate quickly.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to improve the platform.
• Contribute to tools, documentation, and delivery practices that help us scale.

Who You Are:

• 3+ years in professional software engineering role.
• Experience in forward deployed, solutions engineering, or customer-facing roles.
• Tech agnostic - different clients have different tech stacks.
• Experience building and scaling end to end production systems.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• You’ve been part of a fast growing start up and enjoy the pace.
• Clear communication skills and a strong ownership mindset.
• Strong interest in AI.
• Native Norwegian speaker.
