What you'll do
Join OSM Thome as a Fitter (FTR) on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. Work in a hands-on role, supporting safe and reliable vessel operations together with an experienced deck and engine crew.
- Key responsibilities:

- Carry out steel repairs, welding, cutting and basic fabrication work on deck and in engine room
- Maintain and repair pipelines, brackets, foundations, handrails and other ship structures
- Assist engineers during maintenance and overhauls of machinery and equipment
- Support safe work practices, housekeeping and proper use of tools and gear
- Follow planned maintenance routines and report defects to senior officers
- Requirements:

- Previous experience as Fitter onboard seagoing vessels, preferably bulk carriers
- Strong welding and gas-cutting skills; able to read simple drawings and measurements
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with a safety-first attitude and willingness to work worldwide
