Fitter (f/m/x)

As part of Sii Sweden’s continued growth in industrial engineering, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Fitter to support an exciting project south of Gothenburg. You will join a Swedish manufacturing company delivering mobile and stationary fuel and energy solutions for demanding and critical environments. Your tasks

• Assemble mechanical components, equipment, and complete systems
• Fit and align components according to technical drawings
• Install mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Support the installation of electrical cabinets and related electrical components
• Perform drilling, threading, cutting, and surface-finishing work
• Use measuring instruments and mechanical tools
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Support testing and commissioning of finished equipment
• Move large tanks and components using a forklift

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial machinery, or a similar role
• Experience in mechanical fitting and assembly
• Ability to read technical drawings and documentation
• Confidence in using measuring instruments and mechanical tools
• Good English communication skills
• Independent, reliable, and safety-conscious approach

Nice-to-have requirements

• Experience with electrical installation work, particularly electrical cabinets
• Forklift licence and practical forklift driving experience
• Experience with pneumatics or hydraulics
• Machine and component alignment
• Commissioning and troubleshooting experience
• Industrial maintenance experience
