Finnish-speaking PR & Communications Consultant (freelance)

Perfekta PR is a communications agency working with PR and corporate communications across the Nordic markets. We are now looking for a Finnish-speaking communications professional to join us on a long-term freelance basis and support our work in Finland. The collaboration will be approximately 60 hours per month and will include tasks such as:

• Writing and adapting press releases, articles and other PR content for the Finnish market
• Pitching stories and maintaining contact with Finnish journalists and media
• Advising on the Finnish media landscape and relevant PR angles
• Translating and localising content from English or Danish into natural, idiomatic Finnish
• Supporting Nordic communication projects together with our team in Copenhagen

We are looking for someone who:

• Is fluent in Finnish
• Lives in Copenhagen or the surrounding area
• Has experience with PR, journalism, media relations or earned media
• Understands the Finnish media landscape
• Writes excellent Finnish and is comfortable working in English (or Swedish/Danish)
• Enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative agency team

Agency experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. A background in journalism, corporate communications or content combined with strong knowledge of Finnish media could be equally relevant. The setup is flexible, but we are specifically looking for someone based in the Copenhagen area, as we would like you to become a close part of our team and work with us in person on a regular basis.
