Financial Controller

Syntrace builds conversational knowledge for institutional investors. We capture, organize and synthesize private conversations into source-backed knowledge a firm can build on. We are now hiring a Financial Controller, based in Stockholm or Gothenburg. You will own our financial foundation: the monthly close, reporting, payroll, VAT and the annual audit. You will build the processes and controls that let us grow across several countries, and work directly with our leadership team. Our users trust us with the most sensitive conversations they have. That makes security part of the product, not a feature on top of it. What you bring:

• Several years as a controller or accountant, ideally including time at an audit firm or a fast-growing company.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting and tax rules, and fluent Swedish and English.
• Precision and sound judgment.
