Financial Accountant

What can you expect in the role as Financial Accountant? You will become part of a Nordic finance department where we are always “at your side” and ready to help each other. In our Nordic finance department, we are a total of 8 employees. As Financial Accountant, you will become part of a good team that works with dedication and ambition. We will provide you with thorough guidance and support from your immediate manager, so we are with you all the way to success. In this position, you will work with our Swedish, Norwegian and, naturally, Danish accounts in close cooperation with a colleague in a similar role, and together you will be responsible for many different tasks described below. Responsibilities:

• General financial bookkeeping etc.
• Approval of invoices in our invoice management system.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• VAT and Intrastat reporting for Denmark.
• Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
• Checking and posting freight invoices.
• IC agreements with sister branches.
• Monthly settlement with distributors.
• Contributing to new projects.
• Ongoing ad hoc tasks.

We expect you to:

• Have a relevant accounting qualification, e.g. HD1, financial economist, office administration qualification with a specialisation in finance or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Have relevant knowledge of finance, but will of course receive thorough training for the role at Brother Nordic.
• Be proficient in Danish or Swedish as well as English, both written and spoken, and have a good knowledge of the Scandinavian languages.
• Have experience with the Office package.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Experience from an international company is an advantage.
