Finance Transformation Lead

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden Employment Type: Contract Work Arrangement: On-site – 100% Assignment Period: 2 November 2026 – 3 May 2027 Seniority Level: Senior About the Role Sperton is looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Lead for a client in Gothenburg. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming and continuously improving Finance operations by connecting business needs, finance processes, systems, and digital capabilities. Working closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, you will take ownership of Finance systems and process development, translating business requirements into practical solutions. You will lead system enhancements and transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, data quality, standardization, and business performance. Key Responsibilities

• Drive the continuous improvement and digitalization of Finance systems, processes, and operations.
• Act as the business owner for Finance systems, translating business needs into clear requirements.
• Lead Finance system enhancements, transformation initiatives, and process standardization.
• Develop and improve Finance reporting, analytics, master data, and data quality.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
• Coordinate testing, implementation activities, and user adoption for new systems and processes.
• Contribute to the Finance digitalization roadmap and continuous improvement agenda.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, process quality, and decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

• Senior-level experience in Finance transformation, Finance process development, or a related field.
• Experience working with Finance systems, business processes, and digitalization initiatives.
• Ability to translate business requirements into system requirements and improvement initiatives.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders across Finance, IT, and business functions.
• Understanding of Finance reporting, analytics, master data, and data quality.
• Experience with system implementation, testing, change management, and user adoption.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
