To support our continued growth across the Nordic region, we are now looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead our Nordic finance function. About the role We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the daily operations of our finance department and support business development. This role involves managing core financial functions such as accounts payable/receivable, tax, audit and financial reporting, while partnering closely with senior management to support business performance and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to lead, develop and inspire our finance team. Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with the business plan; Advise the senior management on financial risks, and long-term planning; Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles
  • Close support to senior management, as well as all subsidiaries.
  1. Financial Reporting (Statutory & Management)
  • Oversee and prepare financials, provide supports for the preparation of group financials under US GAAP and NL GAAP”.
  • Present financial performance to senior management
  1. Tax Compliance & Planning
  • Ensure all Nordic tax compliance, including but not limited to Corporation tax, VAT, PAYE, Withholding tax etc.
  • Manage relationship with HMRC
  • Oversee tax planning and manage tax risk
  • Provide tax advice for business plan
  1. Financial Controls & Risk Management
  • Oversee Daily AR and AR management
  • Insurance management.
  • Maintain internal controls, financial governance, segregation of duties
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements
  • Implement risk management framework (credit, liquidity, FX, operational)
  • Ensure company assets are safeguarded
  1. Audit & External Stakeholder Management
  • Lead external audit process
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, insurance brokers, and advisors
  • Prepare financial reports
  1. Cashflow & Treasury Management
  • Monitor cash position, working capital, liquidity, execute the plan and the requirement from the group and upper management.
  • Oversee banking arrangements and credit facilities
  • Review or manage payments and receivables.
  • Foreign exchange management
  1. Budgeting & Cost Control
  • Develop the annual budget
  • Track actuals vs budget
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives
  • Ensure departments meet financial targets

Desired Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including team leadership. Working experiences in accounting firms or similar industry are preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing practices and tax regulations for the Nordic market
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred)
  • Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas, data analysis)
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • ACCA/CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, Excellent oral and written communication, strong interpersonal abilities, and a high level of ethics and integrity,Chinese will be a Plus.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
