Required Skills
Role snapshot
Finance Manager – Maze Feedback, Oslo Do you thrive as a true hands-on finance all-rounder – equally comfortable closing the books, driving controlling, and partnering with the business? Do you want a role where you shape the finance function of a growing, international software company? Then read on. We are looking for a Finance Manager for Maze Feedback in Oslo, where you will own the day-to-day finance function and act as a true “wing-man” to our CEO, Gisle Sveva. You will work closely with Maze Feedback’s management team, as well as with the Finance teams across the wider Volaris Group in the Nordics. Maze Feedback is a fast-growing software company delivering customer feedback and retail insight solutions to a broad base of international customers, including well-known retail brands across Europe and the US. Following its acquisition by Volaris Group in 2025, the company is now entering an exciting new phase of growth under new leadership. The primary areas of responsibility include: • Financial controlling: Be hands-on in day-to-day accounting and controlling activities to ensure high accuracy in financial data, both from a technical and an operational finance perspective. Help ensure compliance with accounting standards, including cost allocation, intercompany balances, prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. • Business partnering: Act as a close partner to the CEO and management team, turning data and KPIs into insight and action that support the company’s commercial momentum. Contribute to strategic initiatives around growth, pricing, and customer economics, and drive quarterly forecast processes with high accuracy. • Reporting: Internal and external reporting, including monthly and quarterly reporting in line with the deadlines that follow from being part of a publicly listed group. Prepare monthly management accounts, KPIs, and variance analysis. Participate in internal and external audit and year-end reporting. IFRS experience is an advantage but not required – the corporate finance team will support you. The ideal candidate ticks as many of the boxes above as possible, but the rest will be developed through training and coaching from the finance team across Volaris Group. Your profile: You have a background in accounting, finance or audit. You are hands-on, work independently, and can take ownership of tasks spanning accounting, controlling, and business partnering alike – a genuine “all-rounder” who is equally comfortable in the details and in the bigger commercial picture. You deliver high-quality work and can manage both expected and unforeseen challenges without compromising on quality or deadlines. You are positive, driven, and a strong collaborator. You hold a relevant degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Strong systems skills and a solid understanding of accounting are preferred; prior IFRS experience is a plus but not required, as the corporate team can support this. You will report directly to Maze Feedback’s CEO, Gisle Sveva, and work closely with the Finance teams across the other Volaris companies, who will also support onboarding and ongoing development. You will receive a compensation package that matches your qualifications and experience, along with a high degree of freedom to plan your day, including the option to work from home. Maze Feedback is part of Volaris Group, a leading provider of software and services to public- and private-sector customers. Volaris Group acquires, manages, and builds vertical market software companies that deliver specialized, mission-critical software solutions tailored to their customers’ needs. We are part of Constellation Software Inc. (CSI), a publicly listed company on the Toronto Stock Exchange, which currently owns more than 1.500 software companies worldwide. Apply for the position! If you are interested in the Finance Manager position at Maze Feedback, please send your CV as soon as possible. We will review applications on an ongoing basis until we find the right candidate. If you have any questions about the position, please contact Gisle Sveva, CEO, at +47 46426640 / gisle@mymaze.com.
