Field Service Representative - Defense Sector (Norway)

Job Description The position will work closely with local and regional sales teams / account management and is expected to drive technical engagements with defense customers and partners, present and demonstrate our product capabilities both remotely and onsite, conduct comprehensive training and proof-of-concept (PoC) developments. This role requires a deep understanding of communications solutions in military / defense segment, hands-on expertise in telecommunications and secure networks, and the ability to bridge the gap between advanced technology and mission-critical defense applications. This role will be located in Oslo working primarily with the Norwegian market. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working directly with defense customers and partners to demonstrate the power of Nokia's technology. You will play a key role in:

• Leading and executing pre-sales activities, technical demonstrations, and customer training.
• Conducting proof-of-concept developments and field trials showcasing Nokia's advanced communications solutions.
• Engaging with defense organizations to understand their mission requirements and tailor Nokia's offerings to meet their operational needs.
• Collaborating with sales, product management, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of Nokia's solutions into defense environments.
• Gathering and understanding customer requirements and providing feedback to product management and R&D teams to support continuous improvement.
• Developing and delivering compelling technical presentations and solution roadmaps tailored to the defense sector.
• Ensuring compliance with defense industry security protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to defense customers, translating technical capabilities into real-world mission-critical advantages.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A strong background in defense, with experience working in or with defense agencies, military organizations, or defense contractors.
• Technical expertise in communication solutions, ideally 4G/LTE and 5G, secure networks, RF engineering, or satellite communications.
• Proven ability to conduct technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts in live or simulated defense environments.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical defense stakeholders.
• The ability to act as the primary contact for local/regional technical inquiries.
• Prior (or current) active duty or service in the armed forces.
• The ability to obtain a Secret level clearance.

Travel: Moderate to high, depending on customer engagements primarilly in Norway, secondary in Sweden and Denmark, thirdly to other European projects.
