Export Control Specialist / Trade Compliance Consultant- interim

We are looking for an experienced interim consultant within Export Control and Trade Compliance for a large international industrial group. The assignment is connected to an export control project that was initiated in the US and is now being rolled out in Europe. The focus is on ensuring that export control processes are fully functioning and that products are classified correctly. About the assignment In this role, you will for example:

• work operationally with export control and product classification
• assess whether products are subject to export controls
• work with end-user controls
• assess risks related to exports and customers
• support matters related to sales to the defence industry
• quickly familiarise yourself with the company’s products and apply relevant export control requirements in practice

We are looking for someone who

• has solid hands-on experience within export control
• has worked with product classification
• has experience of end-user controls
• is used to making independent assessments within export control

A legal background is considered an advantage, but is not a requirement. Practical experience within export control and product classification is more important. This is a European role, and the consultant can be based in Sweden, Germany, Italy or France. Practical information

• Start: As soon as possible
• Scope: Minimum 60%, preferably up to 100%
• Duration: Approximately 2–6 months
• Location: Sweden, Germany, Italy or France
• Working model: 100% remote is possible for the right candidate
• The team is geographically spread across Europe, the US and Singapore, which means that some meetings may take place later in the day
