As an Events Account Manager at Navan, your mission is to drive revenue by maximizing the value clients derive from Navan’s corporate events and group travel solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, building deep client relationships to ensure seamless onboarding, optimized platform engagement, and comprehensive management of their event programs and event strategy. You will own individual event renewals and cross-sell and upsell services across the Navan Events lines of business. This highly visible role collaborates closely with Sales, Product, Finance, Operations, and C-suite leadership to delight clients and scale core revenue. • Manage Post-Sales Relationships: Drive post-sales success for accounts by ensuring any events sold by pre-sales are booked through Navan Events and estimated revenue is realised.
• Build Executive Sponsorship: Establish trusted advisor relationships from event planners and program admins up to C-level executives.
• Maximize Platform Adoption: Work with clients to direct all of their smaller event logistics programs through the Navan platform.
• Exceed Revenue Targets: Retain existing event revenue, secure events renewals, and execute upsell/cross-sell opportunities across new departments, use cases, and geographies.
• Cultivate Account Champions: Broaden internal networks within client organizations to secure multi-level sponsorship.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product, Support, and Operations teams to surface client requirements and improve event-specific platform features.
• Maintain Subject Matter Expertise: Master Navan’s event management tools, group travel workflows, and competitive market positioning.
• Onsite Engagement: Travel to customer sites and key corporate events as necessary to support execution and executive reviews.
• Strategic Meetings Management: For certain strategic clients use data from the online platform events data to work with the client to contract all meetings & events being booked with Navan.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales within a fast-growing SaaS, business travel or events environment, preferably with exposure to corporate events, meeting management, or travel tech.
• Track Record: Proven history of meeting or exceeding retention, adoption, and expansion quotas.
• Strategic & Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data to demonstrate event ROI, solve complex client challenges, and prioritize key growth initiatives.
• Communication: Exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills tailored to diverse stakeholder levels.
• Mindset: A proactive, high-energy self-starter with strong EQ, adaptability, and a commitment to customer delight.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
