What you'll do

Start date: 1. January 2027 FTE: Full-time, fixed-term until 30. June 2027 (potential for extension) Global Fashion Agenda is looking for a structured and hands-on Event Project Coordinator to join the Events & Operations team. The team is responsible for the overall production of Global Fashion Summit, the leading international forum on sustainability in fashion, as well as Global Fashion Agenda's other events throughout the term. In 2026, Global Fashion Summit brought together more than 1,000 stakeholders and 144 speakers from 31 countries at Copenhagen Concert Hall, with side events at cultural venues across the city. Delivering an event of this scale takes dedicated planning and coordination, and this is where you come in. You will work closely with the Director of Events & Operations and take hands-on ownership of the planning and execution of our events, from first timeline to final wrap-up. Job responsibilities As Event Project Coordinator, you will focus on:

  • Coordinating production and logistics for Global Fashion Summit, in close collaboration with the Director of Events & Operations
  • Planning and executing side events around the Summit, such as the Welcome Reception, GFS Social and the Official Celebration Dinner, together with our external event partner
  • Coordinating Global Fashion Agenda's other events throughout the term, including our presence at Climate Week NYC and ad hoc events.
  • Managing venues and suppliers, including bookings, agreements, timelines and on-site coordination
  • Keeping production timelines and checklists up to date
  • Supervising the Events Intern and coordinating volunteers during the Summit
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc tasks

Job requirements

  • 1–3 years' experience in event production, logistics or project coordination, ideally with international events
  • Experience coordinating venues, suppliers and external partners
  • It is an advantage to have a strong local network of vendors, partners and suppliers
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to keep an overview of an event with many moving parts
  • Confident working independently and taking ownership of tasks and projects
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Danish is an advantage
  • Comfortable working with AI (Claude is an advantage), Excel and/or Google Sheets and project management tools (Asana is an advantage)
  • Flexible around event periods, including evenings and occasional travel
  • A team player, pro-active and positive, who thrives in a fast-moving atmosphere
  • Interest in sustainability is an advantage

Job benefits

  • Join a dynamic, international team that spans cultures, perspectives, and ideas
  • Take on real responsibility from day one and grow into your role
  • Build meaningful connections with stakeholders across the global fashion ecosystem
  • Bring your ideas to the table. We genuinely want to hear them
  • Play an active role in driving the fashion industry forward
  • A dedicated and diverse team, passionate about sustainability in the fashion industry.
  • A modern work environment located at BLOX co-working space in central Copenhagen
  • Complimentary coffee, tea, fruits, snacks, and lunch at BLOX Eats
