What you'll do

Location: Stockholm, Sweden Contract Type: Freelance / Contract Contract Length: 12 Months Working Pattern: Fully Onsite Hours: 40 Hours per Week Rate: Dependent on Experience Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and construction projects.
  • Completion of quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Evaluation of supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Procurement support and engagement with the supply chain.
  • Preparation and submission of competitive tender proposals.
  • Risk assessment and identification of value engineering opportunities.
  • Review of project drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.
  • Collaboration with project managers, engineers, clients, and suppliers throughout the tendering process.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Estimator, Cost Estimator, Tender Engineer, Bid Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, or Cost Engineer.
  • Strong experience in quantity take-offs, procurement, cost estimation, and tendering activities.
  • Experience working on civil, infrastructure, utility, energy, construction, or data centre projects.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, project specifications, and contract documentation.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
  • Fluent Swedish and English language skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Stockholm for the duration of the project.
