The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience across Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Analytics and AI Transformation, with a strong ability to bridge business requirements with modern data and AI capabilities. • Define the target architecture for an Enterprise Intelligence Layer (EIL) sitting above enterprise data platforms and business applications.
  • Design enterprise data architecture covering Data Products, federated data access and data integration.
  • Define semantic layers, business glossaries, metadata, data lineage, taxonomies and ontologies.
  • Assess the existing enterprise data landscape, including data quality, ownership, governance, accessibility and AI readiness.
  • Establish approaches for grounding AI solutions in trusted enterprise data, business definitions and organisational context.
  • Define architectural patterns supporting Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, enterprise search, context engineering and AI agents.
  • Design solutions enabling AI to understand business intent, reason across enterprise knowledge, explain insights and recommend actions.
  • Address personalisation of enterprise intelligence based on user roles, responsibilities, permissions and business context.
  • Ensure architecture incorporates security, IAM, governance, privacy, lineage, explainability and AI observability.
  • Identify and prioritise high-value business use cases based on business value, data readiness and technical feasibility.
  • Define the EIL MVP, target architecture, capability gaps and phased implementation roadmap.
  • Communicate architectural recommendations and strategic direction to senior stakeholders and executives.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Solution Architecture or related architectural disciplines.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-wide data architectures and complex technology ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, Data Products and federated data access.
  • Experience with semantic layers, metadata management, business glossaries, taxonomies and ontologies.
  • Good understanding of Knowledge Graphs and their application in connecting enterprise entities, relationships and business context.
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, enterprise search and AI agents.
  • Experience designing or defining architectures that connect enterprise data with AI capabilities.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, IAM, security and enterprise information management.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into enterprise-level architectural designs and roadmaps.
  • Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and executive communication skills.
