Role Description The Engineer will design, build, and maintain core product features that support negotiation workflows for legal and advisory professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing backend and frontend components, integrating third-party services, improving application performance, and ensuring system reliability and security. The role also involves collaborating with product managers and designers to translate user needs into technical solutions, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews. The Engineer will troubleshoot production issues, refine deployment processes, and contribute to technical documentation and best practices. This is a full-time remote/on site role, with team collaboration conducted through online communication and project management tools. Qualifications (0-4 years of experience)

• Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar).
• Experience with web application development, including APIs, microservices, or full-stack implementation.
• Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases and experience designing efficient data models.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization or orchestration tools is beneficial.
• Understanding of software testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git) to ensure high-quality releases.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements, break them into technical tasks, and deliver maintainable solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort working in a distributed, remote team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; experience in legal-tech or fintech is a plus.
