Engineer, Control System Testing

Your mission As an Engineer, Control System Testing you will verify and test loader crane control systems (comprising hydraulic/electronic hardware and software) against standards, safeguard performance, lead root cause analysis, standardize test procedures, and automate verification tests. You will conduct and execute control system tests with focus on the time plan without compromising on quality and safety. This position is based in Hudiksvall, Sweden and is onsite. Key Responsibilities

• Verify and test the control system of a loader crane against applicable standards. The control system consists of both hydraulic and electronic hardware and software
• Verify and safeguard the behavior and performance of a loader crane - Lead root cause analysis, identify, isolate and debug complex control system problems
• Standardize test procedures
• Automatize verification tests
• Minimize test time
• Document all performed tests in a clear, structured and traceable way
• Continuous development of the lab (investments/ processes)
• Assure the quality of the control system by zero critical field failures related to the control system
• Maximum automated test coverage - Reduced validation time to support the Time To Market reduction in NPD & PLC initiatives
• Minimized root cause analysis time to support the PLC leadline reduction targets
• Become principal expert, control system testing within 5 years by driving our own development.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical engineering, System engineering, Mechatronics
• 5+ years in system validation/verification and control system engineering
• MATLAB/Simulink
• Detailed electronics knowledge
• Experience with industrial/automotive protocols (CAN, …)
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, power supplies, CAN monitor tools
• Fluent in Swedish & English
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
